This is a one-time purchase, and it is final
There is no subscription, no renewal, and no ongoing charge. You pay once, the listing goes live, and that is the whole transaction.
Once your listing is live, the purchase is final. Sponsored placement is a digital service delivered in full the moment the payment settles — the listing appears, the link is clickable, and it becomes available for public discovery. There is nothing to return.
This is stated before the pay button, not after it.
A position change is not a fault
Another product can move above your full-board or category position. Your sponsored total stays in that rank scope. You keep the placement. A new promotion can increase the position again.
The same applies if the board is quieter than you hoped. You purchased sponsored placement. You did not purchase a guaranteed number of visitors, clicks, or engagements.
Two things the board refunds on its own
These are not exceptions somebody grants. The software does them, without being asked.
- A takeover that could not be granted. Only one takeover runs at a time. If two people pay in the same moment, the one the board could not grant is refunded automatically, in full. You are never charged for a takeover you did not receive.
- A duplicate charge. If the same purchase is billed twice, the second charge is refunded.
Article services
SeeRanks refunds an article service if it cannot deliver the selected service. SeeRanks does not refund a delivered article because it receives fewer visits, clicks, or shares than the customer expected.
If SeeRanks removes your listing
If your listing is refused under a rule you could not reasonably have known about, ask. If it is refused under a rule stated plainly in the board rules, it is not refunded.
Chargebacks
A chargeback removes the payment amount from the affected category sponsored total and the overall sponsored total. Both ranks can fall.
For an all-category payment, a partial refund is distributed across its stored category allocations. The application uses each remaining allocation balance for this calculation.
If something has gone wrong, ask first. A chargeback costs both of us more than a refund does, and takes considerably longer.
How to ask
Contact SeeRanks and include the email address you paid with. That address is the only way to match a payment to a listing.
Tax
Where tax is calculated at checkout, it is shown before payment.
Calculating tax is not the same as being registered for it. On this board the operator is the seller. Registration, filing and remittance are the board operator's obligation in every jurisdiction where they apply, and no software decides that for you.
